The Power of Makeup

The Power of Makeup

Happy Sunday Dolls!

I'm so excited to be reviewing the Too Faced Power of Makeup collaboration with the gorgeous NikkieTutorials. I was so thrilled to hear that NikkiTutorials was collaborating with Too Faced because I am a huge fan of each one and Too Faced always makes sure to out do themselves with the best packaging. From the beginning, I knew whatever they were creating was going to be a hit. I ordered the limited edition pallet the same day it launched ($56.00) and waited patiently for it's arrival. When it finally arrived, I was in love!! Dolls! I was sold on it without even trying out the products! The packaging is beautiful, very girly and well made. Even the small bag with the rest of the goodies is perfect! I gave it a 10+ just for the packaging itself!

Plus, how adorable is Nikkie's quote "When life gives you lemons, punch it in the face & ask for GLITTER"!?

Lets dive right in! Here are the beautiful 9 eyeshadow swatches, the names are so cute!:

The eyeshadows are gorgeous! They blend so easily and are so pigmented but the only downfall is that there is a lot of fallout with the glitter shadows.

Here are the two blushes:

The blushes are peachy and pink, perfect for the summer! Once again, how awesome are the names for these two?!?

Here is the bronzer and highlighter:

I'm a big fan of the chocolate soleil, it is the perfect brown shade for contouring and bronzing. However, I didn't care much for the highlight because it was barely noticeable. This took me by surprise because Nikki is all about the glow. Unfortunately, The Shadow 24hr Eye Primer did not work well for me. I found it to have a oily and watery texture which isn't good to ensure that the eyeshadow doesn't crease. However, the purple mascara and the Sketch Marker Art liner are amazing. I can't forget about the glittering glamour dust in Blue Angel which is to die for!

Here is a makeup look I did using this makeup palette:

Overall, I think this is a great set and is worth the $56.00. You can find this palette in the following stores:

Ulta, Sephora, TooFaced

Let me know what you guys think about this new collaboration in the comment section below!

Until next time,
